I can't get my template to update an Access database. It works fine updating an Excel Database.

Excel doesn't save data in Access, at least not without macros. Here's how you do it the easy way:

LINK the table (Excel file) to Access by doing a File-Get External Data-Link Table.

Then, when you update your Excel file, it will automatically be updated in your Access database. YOU CANNOT EDIT A LINKED TABLE IN ACCESS, you must edit it in (this case) Excel.
