After spending two days downloading the solaris 9 cds, I was hoping that I would only need to spend another hour max in installing it.
But no, errors.
After sticking the CD in the drive, and typing ok boot cdrom I get a scrolling screen of errors
Here are a few examples.

strplumb:can't install module drv/ip, err-1
relocation error: 7: file /kernel/drv/sparcv9/ifp:symbol ddi_rep_get16:value 0x28069e0b does not fit

I get a screen full of similiar errors based upon the ifp.

My system is a sun ultra 10 333, 18gn scsi drive, scsi cd-rw, symbois scsi card. I'v installed solaris 7,9 linux using this configuration without any problems.

Whats going on please. I was going to wright a review about solaris 9. At the moment, my introdution statement starts with; "WhAT THE f^&* is going on ?"
Can someone please help.

thank you
