Hi everybody,

I've been trying to install apache on our AIX System (AIX 4.3.2.0), but whenever I try to run the

/src/configure

he tells me something like the following:

checking if c compiler (gcc) is working .... No !
Unable to create the executables

I always thought C had been installed correctly but it looks like it hasn't.

So can anyone tell me how to correctly install and run c-compiler to work with the installation of apache... ?
E.g. I need the names of all the necessary filesets and where to get them...
[We have the AIX CD Roms as well as a version of Visual C...]

Thanks in advance !

Regards
Thomas
