I am working with Access reports for the first time and need help. I wish to print out detailed reports of all records in a single table but would like to print the data so that it is grouped together by a group_code and have the groups on their own pages. Furthermore on each group page I wish to print corresponding data from a different table that is linked by the group_code. Would someone please give me some directions as to how to accomplish this task. Thanks.

First, you need to add the linked table to the report's recordset. This will give you the info from the other table for use in the report. Next, set the group level in the Grouping/Sorting property of the report. From here you can display the group header/footer. Once the group header and/or footer is displayed you can select this section and in it's Force New Page property define when you want to force the new page. Normally, in a group header you will want to force the new page BEFORE each section. Access will automatically recognize when it's the first record and not force the page then. This will prevent a blank page at the end of your report.

Thanks for the reply Jerry. That helped set me in the right direction.
