hi all,

ok, i've been trying to get data from an oracle database for an online asp reporting system.

I've tried to create a linked server to it though sql but even though i can get results... i can't get what i need.

If i want to link to an oracle db via the web what the best link to use (both servers are windows)

also with this link do i need to use oracle structured queries?? if so is there a good resource site that will help me, unfortunately i'm supposed to be delivering a system for testing in two weeks but without the data its as good as a breeze block!

any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated, i'm at a complete loss, and unfortunately haven't worked with oracle before...

oh sorry, all the data is an inhouse system that we're simply trying to give clients access to so i cannot modify the oracle (hence the sql linked server... stored procs!!!)

thankyou
