Trying to get an ncp500 to dial into tvm50

Hi, I've just installed a NCP500 and a TVM50. I have a free DLC8 and I am racking my brain on how to connect 1-6-1 (the dlc8 card) to the TVM50.

I understand that pins 3 & 6 on the ksu are t/r and on the tvm50 2 & 3 should be as well.

When I go into programming I get a "Fault" on ext 117 (1rst ext on the card). After some reading I discovered that I had to change it to a VM(DPT) and have done so. But it is still showing a fault.

I am totally confused. Also I suspect that I need a hunt group with a pilot of xxx to hunt to 117 & 118 (both vmail ports, and I can't figure out how to do that either. So far, this is a great little system, just stuck on these issues.

One other oddity, with the vmail software the LAN setting options are grayed out. Not sure how to un-gray them.

Any help is mostly appreciated!!

you take the ext out off service and make it VM (DPT) and then its pin 3 and 6 on NCP to TVM pins 3 and 6 if this is a base tvm you only need 1 DPT port from the NCP once you have quick setup your voicemail is in a hunt group of 2 and its fdn 500 unless you installed a lan card in the TVM it wiil be Blanked out
