TRYING TO GENERATE AUTOMATIC SERIAL NO 1

Hi, First of all let me wish everyone in this greatest computer forum in the net a very Happy and prosperous New Year.

I have a report which produces list of items sent for repair and not yet received. I am getting the report with the field "date sent for repairs" in descending order.

I wonder whether it is possible to put a serial no column in the report so that when say for example 13 records are seen, we can see in the Sl no column also 1-13.

Hi Desikan,

Put an unbound textbox in the detail section of the report.
Bring Properties > Data >

Set the Control Source to "=1" ( without inverted commas).
Runnig Sum = Over All
