trying to format a Server 2003

hard drive to use it for something else. Any words of encouragement, wisdom, whatever? I can't seem to format it.

Thanks for the reply. It's formatted and new OS installed now. It turned out that the cd player was broken and I had a bad cd too. It was a case of several things going wrong at the same time.
