Trying to figure out the home folders.

Here is the situation.

e:\users
......|__ Usera
......|__ Userb

I am struggling with exactly what permissions to use.

~ I can map the drive and folder, I can't copy anything to the usera folder.
~ I have created the path in AD \\server\user\%username% (usera)
~ Although we will map directly to the users home folder, I also only want them to see only what they have access to if they would manually map the "users" folder.

Even after it tells me it has assigned the user full control in ad to the folder the user still can not right to the folder.

So I am looking to know:
01) what permissions do I need to assign at the root of the drive.
02) What permissions do I need to assign at the "user" folder
03) What permissions to assign on the actual users home folder.
