Something has happened to my IE browser, when I try to download a .exe file my browser opens acrobat reader as
if the file would have extension .pdf.
I have checked the file types and cannot see any reference to the exe extension and Acrobat document.
Can anyone tell where to find this reference or any other way to correct the situation?
I have NT 4.0 SP6a and IE Browse 5.

obviously, adobe is set as the default for that extension and reader. look in internet options under programs, and check the defaults. s-) I came, I saw, I connected at 48.8...
