I am planning on installing sharepoint 2007 internet and had a few questions. going through the hardware requirements from MS I noticed there are a few install chioces. stand alone and server farm.

now, I need to use this product to create a portal environment to allow users from the internet to access servers in our WAN/LAN. we are talking about 50 users max. now, my question is what type of install would you guys do? meaning standalone or server farm. from what I was reading server farm requires an IIS server, app server and DB server. I may have two or three IIS servers serving different apps I'm not sure yet.

Or, should I be looking at another product instead of sharepoint?

any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
