I am in the process of trying to create barcodes for the AS400 function keys, that when scanned they act like that function key was pressed. Is there any easy way of doing this? I am sure there is, but I am just not getting it!

Currently, we use Mark Magic for our label/barcode creation process.

I anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

Thanks!

First you need a barcode scanner that is programmable.
It can then connect to the keyboard
IT3800 by HHP does that.

Then you need to contact them to help you create a barcode that when scanned will send the correct key stroke to the keyboard.
I use B-Coder Pro to create special barcodes. Download a DEMO here
HHP also uses this program and will be able to help you get it done.
