I am trying to copy a 2616 and keep getting this error code. SCH3306 I even tried many other 2616's and they all do the same thing. What does SCH3306 mean. Need a solution for my problem. Thanks! Still Learning.

REQ CPY 1
TYPE: 2616
CFTN 17 9
SCH3306

sch 3306 The source tn cannot be an ACD supervisor. You probably can't copy an ACD supervisor set. Hope this helps.

If you go back to your > and do as follows it will tell you the sch message

>err sch3306

This might help in the future....

Whenever you get an error message you can use one of the following to find out what it means:

1)In your example you got the following:

REQ CPY 1
TYPE: 2616
CFTN 17 9
SCH3306

You can then press shift8 (at the same time) four times to get out of the LD you are in and then at the > prompt type:
ERR<space>SCH3306 <enter>
You will then recieve the explanation of your error message.

2) Whenever you see an error message you can press shift1( again at the same time). It will automatically take you to the > prompt without leaving the LD you are in. You can then enter your error code again and press <enter>. After you receive the error's explanation, you can press <enter> again and you will be taken back to where you left off.

Hope this helps.....

When programming ACD Phones you should never Copy a ACD phone or do a easy change, for this might corrupt the software I hope this tip is helpful.

In stead of leaving the overlay for searching the error message and then go back in, you could also type an "!" to go temporarily to the main ">" prompt.
search for the error like mentioned by ccastillo above. If you're finished with this error message type a single "*" to go back and continue in this overlay, at the prompt where you typed the "!".
