Hi, I have created a report that allow the users to key in a date range. what I have been trying to do now, with no success is to change the date format in the report to show as mm-dd-yyyy.
any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
thank you!

Hi,
What difficulty are you having..If it is a Date field, then a 'right-click..format field..custom' should let you do it any way you want.

yes, i have tried that. this changes the report date only, not the dates in the report itself. an example:
in my report I have a recvdate which is yyyy-mm-dd but would like that to be mm-dd-yyyy format.

thanks again!

Hi,
Not sure I understand what you mean..

Right-Click on the {table.recvdate} field in your report - Format it to the style you want..

What am I missing here?

You could also use ToText({Your.Date}, "MM-yy-dd").

Thank you very much Madawc and Turkbear. I got the date to work using the HFWDatetoDate function from your idea. Thanks again - a great help.
PLEASE BEAR WITH ME, IAM FAIRLY NEW TO CRYSTAL REPORTS

Phase 2 of my report. I have created 2 subreport in my main report, but have to view each individually. Is there any way I can open my main report and see the results from both subreports without actually going into the subreport itself?
Any assistance granted would be appreciated.

Again, Thank You So Much!

Uuuuuh, subreports are displayed within the main report, you don't "go into them" (whatever you mean by that) unless you create an on demand subreport.

Please start new threads for new issues.
