When I try to connect to ESO (the online service for the game Age of Mythology: The Titans), 95% of the time my connection, which was fine beforehand, loses connection to the internet (but not to the wireless network), resulting in the "limited or no connectivity" message, and me having to repair the connection to regain internet access. The other 5% of the time, the same thing happens soon after I've connected to ESO.
The wireless router is a BT Home Hub. It sounds like some sort of fail-safe mechanism, but the firewall on the router is disabled, and I'm just using XP SP2's firewall, where the game has full access. The stupid thing is, it worked fine in July - I went away for a month in August and since I've come back, it has been doing this. I have contacted BT about it, but I don't expect any useful help. I have also tried installing hotfix 884020 after searching google, but it hasn't helped.
Does this problem sound familiar to anyone, or do you know what could cause it? I was going to reinstall Windows soon anyway so that might help, but if it doesn't, I have no idea what to try.
