Trying to Change Automated Attendant Msg with Intercom 777 but can only Dial 77 twice 1

Current automated attendant message plays and correctly directs caller to correct extensions. We need to change the message, but when I try "Intercom 777" I can only dial 77 twice before I get " welcome to Partner Mail VS" , please enter your extension number. Using Lucent Partner 18 phone with ...looked at thread688-1619816 and don't see that we lot all of the programming because the message is playing.
 
Well, if you are getting "welcome to Partner Mail VS" then you are accessing the voicemail. Enter the extension and password to change the attendant and see if you get through. If not, when does it stop you?
 
thank you Telecomboy 99# asks for password. Have no idea what it is '1234' invalid entry. Is there a way to reset it? Or is there a default?
 
It depends on which version of vs mail you have. You are not supposed to post passwords on here, but you should be able to find a passthrough code on the internet. First find which version you have though as later versions changed the password code.
