Regarding thread 702-1753559 hyperlink/browse for file, Link

The link above is exactly what I am trying to do. I know a bit about Excel VBA but very little about Access (365) VBA. I'm a little confused on how to link the code to the text box where the hyperlink would be entered. I assumed that I would go to the event tab for the textbox and select On Click where I put the sub name cmdPopulateHyperlink_Click and of course I am wrong. Access can't find the object. As directed in the link referenced above I have turned on the Microsoft Office 16 Object Library. I've read many of the threads related to hyperlinks and I'm not quite getting it. Can someone give me a clue in laymans terms or point me to an easy to understand reference. Thanks for any enlightenment you can pass my way.
