Trying desperately to zero out inventory.

I have version Macola Progresion 7.5.102
I know its old and outdated, I have all the update disks, just haven't got around to updating.

When trying to zero out inventory - The first Step of going into inventory management - Process - Inventory count - Physical count select.. We try and run the process by putting in a new Batch ID and selecting a location and unchecking use frozen quantities as prescribed by an earlier technician, the process starts and about halfway in it gives me the error message " Progression: This Record was changed at another station. Update Canceled FILE IMBATFIL"

Thanks you so much in advance if you know the solution or at least point me in the right direction.Im the Network Admin here so feel free to get as technical as you like.

Make sure you only have that process open, and that no one else does. The system thinks another process is updating the IMBATFIL (has the batch number, and the how many tags, and the options you chose) Perhaps have every one log out. Reboot your server, check you \macola root\users directory right after your reboot should be empty if not clear delete the phamtom users.

I did see a bunch of user in that directory and i cleared out - rebooted only one person logged in and still same result, as b4 goes about 35,000 tags in and stops with same message. No change.

This is a wild guess, out on a limb - disable anti-virus on server and workstation, or do you have the hard drive space ? Do you have transaction control entry or post checked in the system manger company set file. Disable on temp basis and try.

Also try a different workstation.
