I just stumbled across one of the most helpful tools ever, and it's free to boot! It's called CoreReader. It allows you to create database connections and then build queries based on those connections. It allows you to connect and query all major dbms's(SQL, Oracle, Access, just to name a few). It will be a great asset to you if you are a developer and take the time to try it out!
