TrustedLink on AS400 - No data in target files after move

After setting up my first incoming document from scratch, an 820, I performed the retranslation and move options on a transaction that we had received before completing the setup. Everything seemed to work fine, the trading partner name replaced their ID, the status changed from UTP to T/G and then to MOV, and there were no errors. The message stating that the data was moved to the user file came up, just like expected. However, when I looked in the target files on the AS400, there was no data.

This is the first time I've created anything from scratch with the software (TrustedLink v3.0, EDI/400 v5.02.06). During the map and user file creation everything seemed to work. There were no error messages during the compile of the map and user file definition.

Does anyone know how to track or trace what's going on during the move operation? Is there someplace I can look on the 400 to see log information or possible error messages?

Thanks,
Ken

I would ask your software vendor.
Check w/ your AS.400 Admin.

Thanks, but unfortunately my boss won't let me pay for the vendor to help... and, I'm the untrained sys-admin for this. Forum's like this along with reading and re-reading the manual are pretty much all my support.

Thanks though,

Company buys software for EDI (must be important) and doesn't bother to get a support contract? So, if you get a system in production and you find a problem, your next step is what?

Wish I could help, but...
