Hi all,

My question is - Once LDAP authenticates a user to access Cognos, for the running the reports is it possible to send just the userid to the DB directly or via LDAP and get the user authenticated? If yes, how? We cant do this done by using multiple db signons as the DB pwds expire monthly, and therefore dont want it hardcoded in Cognos.

jwellsnh, had started a thread (thread401-473042) regarding this. If you've got the question answered please do share.

Any help would be appreciated.
