Hello all,
at the moment we think about a migration from Trusted Link Version 5.03.03 (AS/400) to Version 6.1.
If you have some experience about migration to Version 6.x it would be great if you can describe some advantages of the new version.
Further I got some special questions regarding to the new version.
1) Is it possible to connect the British Telecom VAN with Trusted Link?
2) Got the new version the possibilty, to scedule the send and recieve jobs? In version 5.03.03 is it possible to connect the VAN out of the Trusted Link menue and it would be great if you can scedule the send and recieve jobs.
3) If there is a problem with sending or recieving the messages is it possible to send an e-mail or sms to the edi administrator. Is this also possible for VAN reports.
4) To be flexible we use a parameter database on AS/400. For example: A customer send us qualifier 135 in DTM but we need the qualifier 137 so we check this against our parameter database and change the qualifier, the same process for sending messages. Is this possible to have such a (lookup) database at Trusted Link and not on our AS/400?
5) The last question
Is it possible to map the recieved or send data into a flatfile?
So much questions. Thank you in advance...
