Hi

any one seen this.

When I try to create a trust from the trusted domain I receive this error "User account already exists" yet the trust was broken/removed. We are unable to reestablish it.

Thank in advance

It sounds like your admin account is still in a group on the trusting domain, giving you this error. I would go to the trusting domain, and check for unknown accounts or deleted accounts in the Local administrators groups that reference the previously trusted domain. Delete any instances of these accounts. Even though the trust has been removed/broken, trying to reestablish the trust may be finding one of these accounts, sees that the User SID is the same and giving you this error.
I would also check the trusting domain to see if it thinks that the trust is still valid. A trust needs to be created / removed from both ends. It can be broken from either end, but should be removed from both before trying to reestablish the trust.
