Trust Relation in NT Server over WAN

Dear

Iam having two win-nt server in diffrent network. Both the Network is connect over Private WAN (VSAT). I want to use the resorces of one nt server on other server. Can you guide how can I do this.

For this I tried to trust both the NT server. But this is giving error "Domain cntroler not found".

My network is like this,

Network A


PC-----------NT Server------Router----Vsat(B)
10.1.20.51 10.1.20.35 10.1.20.1

Network B

PC-----------NT server------Router-----VSAT(B)
10.1.1.51 10.1.1.35 10.1.1.1
both VSAT A and B is connected.

I am abale to map the Drive of NT Server A to NT server B

I had a similar problem (although my network was simpler) ie


NT Server Router Router NT Server
10.30.0.4 10.34.0.20 10.32.0.20 10.32.0.1
Domain Name Domain Name
Alpha Beta
Name Alpha 1 Name Beta 1

and cured it by adding entries the the lmhost file at both NT Servers eg on Alpha add the line
10.32.0.1 BETA1 #PRE #DOM:BETA

on Beta add

10.30.0.4 ALPHA1 #PRE #DOM:ALPHA

On both servers run nbtstat -R to refresh the cache and everything should be fine and dandy.

If you installed a WINS server on serverB and pointed all your systems to it, the problem would probably go away.
