Trust Problem

i have a 2003 member server in a w2k domain. This domain has a trust with a NT 4 domain at our Netherlands location (via a vpn). When i try to add security permissions to a share on the 2003 server, i am unable to add users from the NT4 domain. I do not have this problem with any of my w2k servers. The hosts and lmhosts files are the same on all servers.

ex.

1.1.5.6 MFL06 #PRE #DOM:MAYFRAN_NL
1.1.5.6 "DomainName \0x1b" #PRE
1.2.2.1 TRUST #PRE #DOM:MAYFRAN_NA
1.2.2.1 "DomainName \0x1b" #PRE

Any suggestions?
