Trust between W2k and NT4

I have Win2k primary domain controller (173.100.100.1 sub mask(255.255.0.0)) and NT4 primary domain controller (176.12.80.1 sub mask(255.255.0.0)). Connected through hub.
How to establish trust connection between them ?
I tryed according to manual for Win2k trust connection in Active Directory but it didn't work.
What do i need ? Router ? For NT4 we need a router but for Win2k ?
Please help.
