Trust between two forests 1

I have two forests, let's call them forest A and forest B. I want forest A to trust forest B so B users can access data on A's forest. So I'd like to create a one-way forest trust. I have a firewall separating the two forests. Can anyone help me with which ports I need to open so I can initially create the trust relationship? I have found sites with so many conflicting answers that I thought I'd ask here.
