Is there a way to determine the phone number of a particular trunk? I don't want to have to use a butt-set to figure them out.

Depends on what mode your switch is in. If it's in Key mode, then just pick the line and dial 1010-732-1-770-988-9664. A recorded voice will tell you what the number is. If you're running in PBX/Hybrid mode, you'll need a DSS programmed to the range of your outside lines so you can tell specifically which line you're calling out on (or a unique label on every trunk line). Then you can call that number and be sure which line you're calling from.

Go to any phone dial *03 then craftr4 then the last 2 digits of the trunk you want to find the number of. This allows you to chose what trunk you dial out on and then you can do a dial back or call a cell phone w/ caller id.

Thanks for the tips, however our PBX is running in PBX/Hybrid mode. Duh on using a cell phone. I wasn't thinking. Dialing *03 didn't work. I think because we are running audix voicemail.

*03 should work with your system password. This is the direct trunk select feature code of the Legend. I am running R7.0 w/voicemail in the PBX/Hybrid mode and this is how I select a particular trunk. Be advisd that ARS restrictions still apply even though you direct trunk select. You can also temporarily program a personal line appearance on one of your stations.

I went back and tried *03 again and it worked. I think I wasn't entering the password quick enough.

Thanks casalini :)
