I am trying to find out how to watch my trunks to see
how many calls I am getting at a time and how many
busies I am gettting if any. If there is a way to run
a report and/or look at this info live please advise. [sig][/sig]
There are three ways to do this from my experience.
1. Use the embedded trunk reports in the Definity. Try "list measurements trunk-group summary yesterday peak" or "list meas trunk summ last-hour". Use the report scheduler to automate their production.
2. Request "peg count" reports from your local and long distance carriers. The Definity reports only indicate for the traffic that is delivered to the PBX from the network; your callers can also experience busies on the network side.
3. Install a call accounting system that plugs into the CDR port on the PBX. This is handy if you wish to define custom reports not available within the Definity.
