Does anyone know if this is a problem ? Or a configuration issue ? I have an 2.1(15) IPO412 and IPO403 wth PRI conections.

Regards
Len

trunk to trunk transfers on ISDN lines should be no problem
Have you enabled the "Inhibit off Switch Calls" setting in System/Telephony?
this will prevent t-t transfers

Yes inhibit off-switch calls is enabled.

disable it & wou will be able to do trunk to trunk transfers.

IPGuru ,sorry but this bugs me as to why it is not working .. By disable you mean "no tick" in the box ?

yes remove the tick,
ticking the box will inhibit (prevent) externals diverts & transfers
if yopu are still having problems you will need to do a monitor trace on the ISDN to find out why the calls are failing

Trunk to trunk transfers won't work on a pri if you setup yourself 2 outgoing calls and try to connect them.

It is a customer phoning in then the call is put on hold and transfered out on the same trunk again.

I logged the fault with Avaya and a TIER III engineer confirmed it on site ... I will keep you posted.
