Trunk to trunk transfer stay in Limbo.

Hi,

Does any one know why analog trunk ports in IPO 403, remain occupied when a trunk to trunk transfer end (both call parties hand, but both port remain used with silence tone?

Make sure your short code for dialing out [9]N; uses the feature "dial" and not "Dial3K1". I've had issues with this feature and analog trunks.

This is a problem with analogue trunk to trunk transfers from way back.

If you need to do this your carrier needs to supply Reversal on Idle which tells the system that the call is finished by reversing the polarity of one of the loop trunks.

I never use analogues for external transfer or remote forwarding because of the inherent problems with these lines.
