Hi,

I'm trying to forward a DDI number back out over same same digital PRI route. Not via a set but using either AN ACDN or a pldn.
I get exchange engaged tone when i call the DDI number. I thought it may be to do with trunk to trunk barring but I am not sure where to look.

Hi,

If I remember correct you must set EXTT to YES in the CDB

Thanks but yes I checked that first.

I tried forwarding a digital set externally & calling it DDI, the call forwarded OK. So my issue is not trunk to trunk barring.

Its rlse 22 software with no phantoms. So i need to have a DDI number route to an external number. So I tried a PLDN pointing to a GHT list. The list having two choice destinations in it. This failed.
I then set the DDI number up as an ACDN with NCFW set up to an external number, this fails the same way.

Any ideas anyone ?

Its OK now. It worked all along, it was all a red herring. my pabx here at a remote site cannot call this DDI range. So I need to investigate this anomaly, its not an issue anymore.
