Hi,

I have a MD110 BC11 between Nortel Succession 3.0 and PSTN and I want the calls made from nortel to transit the MD110 and arrived to PSTN, and the outgoing calls, from nortel, to be record into CIL over ethernet . The connection between nortel and MD110 is Qsig.
Anybody have ideea how can I do this, to made trunk to trunk connection into MD110?

Thank you,
Mike

Hello

Are you currently able to transit the exchanges without a problem? i.e. Can you make a call from the Nortel to the PSTN and Vice Versa already or is this what you need help on

OR

are you trying to get the call logging working at one of the sites?

I am assuming that you have a call logger at the MD110 and it here that you wish to pull of more acurate reports on what extension is making the call or which DDI has been dialed?

If this is the case it will be a case of making sure that call logger is powerful enough to deliver these types of reports AND setting up the routes so that

a- Extension information is passed to the exchange from the Meridian and
b- DDI routing info is present (this must already be present or the calls won't arrive at the desired extension).

It may well be the case that the information is already present for everything that you want, but you have find the right report structure to deliver it, what call logger are you using ?

Hi,

I can make calls from Nortel to PSTN and viceversa I don't implement yet. I made CIL over HDU for the outgoing calls from Nortel. The duration of the calls, in the CIL are more less than the real time duration of the calls made from Nortel. I'm using, for the calls, the format 2.
Do you know who can I forward the calls from PSTN to Nortel through MD and why the differnce duration is so high?

Thanks

[Blue]"Do you know who can I forward the calls from PSTN to Nortel through MD"[/Blue] - I am confused as your first line indicates that you already have this working - [Blue]"I can make calls from Nortel to PSTN and viceversa"[/Blue]

[Blue]"and why the differnce duration is so high?"[/Blue] - i am not sure what you mean by this?

Hi alchohaz,

Sorry my mistake, I implemnt only Nortel to PSTN, but I thing it'll work from PSTN to Nortel if I delete the digits without last 4 (because I have extension into Nortel wiht 4 digits) and add access code for the route to PSTN.
I found the issue with the time. The time format is 0124, that means 12 minutes and 4x6seconds.

Thank you
