Hello,

We are currently testing the functionality of our installation on a SIP trunk link. This is a link dedicated to telephony.
It is an MPLS VPN. We (with my integrator) created 2 Vm SBC and an EMS.

There are 2 ISP routers. I created a dedicated SIP trunk VLAN on our core network. There is already a VoiP VLAN, on which our IP Office is located.

VLAN 90 = IPO 10.39.90.0/24 GW : 10.39.90.254
VLAN 92 = Trunk SIP 10.39.92.0/24 : 10.39.92.254

On SBC HA :

B1 = TRUNKSIP gateway 10.39.92.254 255.255.255.0 Ip Adress : 10.39.92.120 =>External to the ISP router
A1 = VOIP gateway 10.39.90.254 255.255.255.0 Ip adress : 10.39.90.92=>Internal to the IPO Office

The isp asked me to add a static route to their SBCs ( Ip : 109.0.X.X)
they asked me to give them 3 IPs from the 10.39.92.0 subnet

10.39.92.100 ( LAn Ip for their first router).
10.39.92.200 ( LAn Ip for their second router).
10.39.92.222 ( VRRP adress between their two routers).

On my core switch : ip route 109.0.X.X 255.255.255.128 10.39.92.222

We then tested on a phone to go through the SIP trunk. Outgoing calls work.

Incoming calls are not working

the phone rings but when I pick up, there is no sound, neither from one side nor the other.

My isp offers me to add a route, on their router
10.39.90.0/24 Next-hop 10.39.92.254

But I don't really understand. They want to add a direct route to the IP office?
Doesn't the sbc act like a firewall? Without needing to see the internal part of my network?
