We are Configuring CMM and in the Avaya documentation it states that either a SIP or an H.323 Trunk can be created. Which one is best to use in terms of stability? Does anyone have either type of Trunk group setup that can offer any feedback? We are using an 8300D with CMM and CM 6.3

Same thing, but IIRC, if you set h323, the webpage explicitly states it will be deprecated in the next release. Do SIP and at least you won't have to redo it come CM7 or 6.4

I have used both SIP and H.323 with no issue, but it is my understanding that H.323 will not be an option in future releases. With this in mind, I have been using SIP integration exclusively.
