Here is one that has me stumped. An office in California with a SX2000 - recently switched from ATT to Granite Communications and now the office can not dial out. Granite and ATT both say the lines test clean and if a tech puts a butt set on one of the lines (we have one LS/GS trunk group with 24 members) he can call out. Nothing has changed programming wise on the PBX yet there is still an issue. I status the trunk group and it was idle - but when I busied it out and released it, most of the members stay in a "releasing" state. Any ideas what I should be looking for? I think something on the Granite programming isn't working with the way the trunk is set up in the PBX, but I am not sure what to look for.

Another bit of information.....the office can occasionally call out, but there is a lenghty delay before the call completes, if it completes...and if it doesn't they get a 'trunk busy' indication on their display.

I don't do any programming on Mitels, but since you say 24 members, sounds like a T1... LS or GS makes a HUGE difference. Are they analog or is it a T1? Is there a channel bank involved? Is it possible that the carrier side is mis-configured?

Well - figured it out....Granite changed the lines coming in to Loop start and PBX was configured as Ground. Made a change in the Trunk Circuit Descriptor and all is well. Thanks.
