Hi,

We have added some tlu 75 trunk cards to what I believe is a BC10 system in 2 seperate LIMS. When we did CNHUI it found the cards and allowed us to program routes etc.

Now the boards have gone passive we have tried spre boards and when we try to restart the bords they fail.

We are pretty sure we don't have a hardware problem (TLU 75).

We have restarted the 2 LIMS with the boards and still they remain passive and a SUSIP shows the trunks programmend and blocked?

Any Idea's, Any program unit that could cause this?

Thanks

Hello,

Can you check D7 in VARC for the route.
It should be 2
TLU75 is a programmable board.

BR///

D7 of VARC C is currently a 3, would this cause the boards to go passive?

Here is the rest of the route programming for your thoughts?

RODAI:ROU=90,TYPE=TL25,VAR0=00000010,VARI=00000002,VARC=00001032;

ROCAI:ROU=90,SEL=511010000000,TRM=4,SERV=3110000000,TRAF=00151515,SIG=211100000000,BCAP=001100;

Thanks,

Strange configuration. What kind of connection are you trying to initiate? This seems to be an analog tie-line with decadic pulsing, but no outgoing traffic (?).
Are you sure that this is a TL25 connection. If yes, VARO D8
has to be 2 (in your case). VARI is also a little bit strange (if there aren't any special patches etc. in the TLP25 unit). D5 is not in use, D7 should be 1 or 2. Try with these settings, or refer to Alex/Dynatext for more specific information.

Hi

The TLU75 is being used for analog loop start trunks. I'm still not clear what would cause the boards to go "passive"?

Thanks,

If you are using a "conventional" loop start, the program unit should be TL11. In any case, this configuration (which you have now), won't work!. If you are sure that the unit is TL25, change the parameters as described. If not sure, use TL11, and begin with following VAR's:

UNIT:TL11 VARC:00000012 VARI:00000508 VARO:00000805

This conf. is working with TLU75, and uses DTMF

For TL25

UNIT:TL25 VARC:00000012 VARI:00000002 VARO:00000012

I don't know, if it works at your site (never been there, I think), but these settings should not make the board passive or blocked. Fine "tuning" has to be done afterwards.

Good luck!
