what is the correct way to get trunk usage reports and
processor load reports, I know its in LD 2 but not sure
the correct procedure, and what to expect, and how to
present this to management, any ideas, plus any other
brownie-point reports that you could recommend.

1st you need to decide which reports you want to output. You then need to work your way through LD 2 & turn on the ones you want. You can then assign a tty to capture the hourly output - means you need a device to capture the data permanently attached, or if you have some app like MAT, it can dial in an manually invoke & output. If your switch is not to big & you are running later processors you can set up a TRF file, similar to the History file, in LD 17 & retrieve it once a day yourself. The output format is exactly what you see in the NTP so if you want to provide stats for manangement, you are either going to need some other app - like MAT - to convert this into something more easily understood.
