truncating images 1

hello,

i have a cell that is 300x300 px that i want to put images into. if the images are larger than 300x300, i want them to get cut off. if they are smaller, i don't want them to stretch.

any way to do this?

not 100% sure on this, but specify that the size of the images is 300X300 - that'd work, I think!!

If possible you're better to shrink your images, that way you'll be able to decrease the file size, but I'm guessing there's a reason you don't want to do that?

Hi,

Put a transparent image 300px by 300px,
then set the images you want to see as background images with no-repeat.

sorry, my solution would cause the imate go stretch, or change to fit the td.

Another easy way would be to put the images in a div 300px by 300px and use either clip or overflow:hidden to hide part of the larger images.
