truetype fonts embedded in word

I am trying to embed my truetype fonts in word templates but fonts used in the footer are not embedded with the file. All body formats are included! can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Hi mckinlay,

Are you sure they're:
. not embedded - I'm not sure you'd see any difference in a template, unless it already has footnote text, and even then the font would have to use a different typeface.
. licensed for embedding? Some truetype fonts can't be embedded (see:

. TrueType and not OpenType (see:

There are also issues with embedded font display in documents saved as RTF (see:
