I have just installed Palm Desktop 4.1 then added sidekick 99. The first sync was fine, following the initial setup screens. However, now each time I try to sync, it runs the setup screen again as if it thinks it is a first time setup.

Any clues? - other than a complete uninstall and re-install

Thanks,

Kym

Hi amboman,
I think the answer is to install in a different order.
The following page is applicable to SDK98 but I wonder if it may be relevant:

Dear All,
As I have said in several threads I am learning all the time too.
If anyone else has an alternative solution to that suggested in any of my posts, please feel free to contradict/suggest alternatives. Regards Jim

Thanks Jim,

The Truesync that comes with SDK99 doesn't seem to include the .dll's mentioned in the article, but the installation order may be relevant, so I will attempt a clean install and see what happens.

Regards,

Kym
