TrueDBGrid Pro7 DELETE PROBLEM

Salute..
I have this problem..
I am using TrueDB Grid Pro 7...I am using the STORAGE MODE.
In the BeforeDelete event handler I just set the cancel = TRUE and it just DELETES the record !!!!!!!
Private Sub TDBGrid1_BeforeDelete(Cancel As Integer)
Cancel = True
End Sub
WHAT IS WRONG?
why is it deleting the record??
