Hello,
We've had a TEA308 for several years but with a ridiculous increase in nuisance calls I've just bought a TrueCall blocker.
It works ok in shield mode (which just requires unidentified callers to press a key to be allowed straight through) but in whisper mode it doesn't.
Whisper mode asks the caller for their name and to press #, which is fine. It then rings our handsets and we can choose to press '1' to accept the call, or '*' to zap the caller and never let them ring us again. However regardless of which key we press - 1, *, 2 or anything - the Truecall zaps the caller.
I'm presuming the Panasonic isn't sending the right DTMF to the Truecall (?) even though we can use regular automated systems such as banking or customer service lines with DTMF without problem.
Are there likely to be any settings in the Panasonic which affect what sort of DTMF is being sent, etc? I have access to the programming via the Maintenance Console so if there's any settings need changing, I can try them out.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Peter
