True Thin-Client terminal services licensing

Anybody know how thin client licensing works with thin Client pc's like Wyse Winterms. I understand the concept of how per-device CAL certificates are written to Registries entries on PC's, But how does that work with the Winterms or other true thin pc's that are diskless?
 
Pretty straighforward.

You've got your terminal server, your terminal server license server, and your WYSE device. (BTW, get the 1200LEs not the 3000 series.. they suck!)

Load your license key pack on the license server and off you go.
