My customer database has a true false field which i use for current and former customers. I use -1 value to pull only the true current customers. I would like to be able to have two more tables instead of one but I am not sure how to do this. I like to have the main table for both current and former. Is there a way to have two other tables one for current and one for former that would update info on its own using the org table with both current and former customers.

I'd like to use two query instead of two other tables, the first Query for current and the other for former just as you said. Of course you can do that by using query criteria.

Hope this would help YOU...
Mohamed Aly
samara_79@hotmail.com

Do a file save as on your customer table and name it something like CustomerArchive then go into CustomerArchive and select all the record and delete them all.

Now do an append query to this table where your true/false field = N or 0 ... this will put all the old one in the new table.

Now do a delete query on your main table...where your true/false filed = N

Now put both these queries into a macro and you can run it at your leasure to clean up your main customer table.
