I have written this nice little Crystal report and am trying to add it to the custom reports menu in Sales Order. All of the data is coming from SO records, so I figured Sales Order was the place to put it. Anywho, when I follow the normal procedures for adding a report to said menu and I try to run the report, I get the message "You are not authorized to access this program." I'm a supervisor in MAS, so I should be able to do anything, right? What am I doing wrong?

What version of MAS are you running? 4.0 or earlier? You may need to set up Role Maintenance (4.0) or Menu Security Maintenance (earlier). By being a Supervisor, at least in versions prior to 4.0 - you are allowed to make one sided General Journal Entries and can update without printing registers.

I'm guessing you are running a version prior to 4.0 in which case you need to look into Library Master>Security>Menu Security Maintenace.

Good luck!

naw, we've got the 4.0. I'm confused because I am following the same method that I used before and that report is available for everyone just fine :/

This was posted a while ago - so I'm assuming you already figured this out (hopefully). But I too have run into that problem and have found that for some reason, after you install a custom report, you have to go back into the role maintenance and make sure that reports menu for that module is checked (it gets unchecked whenever you add a new report).
