Can somebody provide some good web links to get commands to use to do basic ip troubleshooting in a Bay router like this one:

# type asnbcable
# build-date {Mon Jul 30 21:41:29 EDT 2001}
# build-version {BayRS 14.0.2.2/rel BCC 14.0.2.2/rel builder vobadm}
# description {Image: rel/14.0.2.2/ Created on Mon Jul 30 21:41:29 EDT 2001.}

I know some commands like
show ip circuits
ping
ping -p (which is really trace)
bcs (to get into bay command console)
show ip routes

Help and Help <command name> gets me somewhere, but i am really lost (signed Cisco User)

Can't seem to google anything good.

show ip ? - will give you a list of IP commands. Some of the more useful are:

sho ip cir

sho ip route

sho ip static (shows static route entries)

sho ip arp

sho ip base (basic IP info)

sho ip rip

If you're troubleshooting an Ethernet circuit:

show csmacd ? - will give you a list of commands.

Some of the more useful involve collisions, autonegotiation, stats, system errors, etc.
