I had a win2k serv er box that failed and I was suspecting that the cause was the mobo. I purchased the same board and swapped it out but find that this did not resolve the issue.

Having ruled out the MOBO I am left now with the ram, cpu's and or the hard drives. The mobo is MP and there are 2 identical cpus. Also the mobo has onboaard raid set to mirror so I think it is unlikely that the HD is the cause.

I am wondering if there is so s/w to run under dos from boot disk to troubleshoot the ram as possible cause.

Thanx

memtest86, you can google it and its free.
Also, intel has a new software that does the same, you can get it from intel website.
