I am trying to find out why log shipping is not working properly and one of the things I need to do (according to my document) is to check all the tables in the msdb database and ensure that there are no entries in the following ones:
Log_shipping_databases
Log_shipping monitor
Log_shipping_plan_database
Log_shipping_plan_history
Log_shipping_plans
Log_shipping_primaries
Log_shipping_secondaries
and if there are any entries in the tables then delete them.
Two questions:
1 - Do I have to do this step in the target server?
2 - I know there are SPs that do job but I am not sure which ones.
