Here is the error I'm getting first...

Error Code File 404 Not Found
_______________________________________
1) There is no application server running
2) The Application Server for this site does not map to the URL
Verify that the URL prefix maps to the site.

WHAT I'VE DONE::::::
I have defined the site in 'Site > Define Sites' using FTP. The Host directory is:
/usr/local/src/temp/jakarta-tomcat-3.2.2/webapps/examples/jsp/dates/

In the Application Server details the host directory is:
/usr/local/src/temp/jakarta-tomcat-3.2.2/webapps/examples/jsp/dates/
and I am also connecting using FTP.

Then when I go 'Modify > Connections' and enter the driver details:
jdbc:mysql://scweb.sandiego.edu:3306/
and click test I get the error at the top.

Can anybody give me a clue as to where I might be going wrong? Thanks for any help!

It appears that your Tomcat server is not running. The default port number is 8080 unless you changed that. Have you been able to execute the startup.sh succesully?
